PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically totalize and manage the number of printed sheets by a communication terminal device, having a printing function owned by each customer. SOLUTION: A printed sheet number totalizing apparatus 5 for collecting information about the number of printed sheets from a plurality of communication terminal devices 1; each having a printing function via a communication line 9, is provided. This apparatus 5 is provided with a customer information database 53a for storing a communication access number of each of the terminals 1; an address storage unit 53c for storing address, in which the information about the number of printed sheets is stored in a printed sheet number storage section 13b of a plurality of RAMs 13 as a storage means of the apparatus 1; and a control means for making communication access to the apparatus 1 by referring to the database 53a, and transmitting a signal containing a command designating an address for the apparatus 1 and a command, requesting the information about the number of printed sheets to the apparatus 1 by referring to the section 53c.
