DISK CARTRIDGE EJECTING MECHANISM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge ejecting mechanism by which a disk cartridge is always stopped at a position capable of taking out the cartridge and easily taking out the cartridge from the position. SOLUTION: The mechanism comprises a cartridge stopper 61 which is used to prohibit for the cartridge to move toward a take-out direction that is located further than the cartridge take-out position when the cartridge is moved to the position; a cartridge lock auxiliary means 70 which prevents the releasing of cartridge lock of the stopper 61; and an auxiliary release means that releases the condition in which the means 70 prevents the releasing of the cartridge lock by the means 61.
