PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head device in which impact resistance is greatly improved and the occurrence of coil discontinuity and deformation of a sliding surface is prevented and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Resin material 21 is applied to the outer peripheral wall section of a slider member 14 which is made by joining sliders 12 and 13 to the both side sections of a magnetic core 11 and between coil bobbins 16 and 17 that are mounted on the member 14 and the medium side main surface of a shield member 18. Thus, the slider member 14, the coil bobbins 16 and 17 and the member 18 are fixed by the material 21 so as to jointly reinforce the joining condition of each section. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
