PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic cassette realizing optimum photography even when it is attached to an erect pedestal without spoiling it for portability. SOLUTION: The electronic cassette is provided with a deforming or moving means or an attaching/detaching means in a grip, whereby photography excellent in operability is realized even when it is attached to the erect pedestal without spoiling it for the portability. Since it is provided with the deforming or moving means or the attaching/detaching means in the grip and further equipped with a jaw bearing means, more excellent photography good in the operability is realized in erect photography.
