GAS ANALYSIS METHOD AND ANALYZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas analysis method and a gas analyzer capable of improving detection sensitivity to volatile organic compounds. SOLUTION: The gas analyzer is provided with a trap tube 2 filled with a collector for collecting organic compounds; a heating means for heating the trap tube 2; and a column 6 for separation to which the organic compounds discharged from the trap tube 2 are introduced. A cooling means 3 for cooling the trap tube is provided. The cooling means 3 comprises a moving means 12 having a Peltier device 11 for bringing a low-temperature part of the Peltier device 11 in contaact with the trap tube and away from it.
