PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay an oil-preventive pit with a J-shaped trap on an extremely narrow ground. SOLUTION: In deodorizing/oil-preventive pit 1 in which an inlet 4 is provided on the upper section of the pit body of the pit 1 with the J-shaped traps and an outlet 5 on a lower section and the traps 8 and 9 are installed to the outlet 5, the pit 1 is divided into the pit bodies on the inlet side and the outlet side and rotated freely to constitute a universal drum, thereby, the pit 1 and an in-house drain main pipe 13 can be brought close to each other because the taps 8 and 9 are oscillated, and the pit can be laid even on the extremely narrow ground.
