PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device and a tool for setting the size of a paper sheet for the device, which indicates the size of the paper sheet only by mounting the tool for determining the size of the paper sheet in each of the front face sections of a single or a plurality of paper sheet containing cassettes and can automatically set the size of the paper sheet for a device body. SOLUTION: With each tool for setting the size of the paper sheet, which has an identification section whose shape differs by paper sheet size and a paper sheet size display section for digitally displaying paper sheet size, mounted in the front face section of each of the paper sheet containing cassettes, the size of the paper sheet is determined by means of a determination section provided in each of the paper sheet containing cassettes, and the determined paper sheet size is recognized by the device body.
