PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily erect a guide rail in a hoistway with satisfactory appearance. SOLUTION: Width of a fastener 6, a seat plate 11, and a bracket 14 supporting the guide rail 2 is set to dimension corresponding to width of a basic part 3 of the guide rail 2. Consequently, structures and a tightening device 19 such as the fastener 6, the seat plate 11, and the bracket 14 are hidden behind the basic part 3 of the guide rail 2 to improve appearance when the guide rail 2 erected in the hoistway 1 is viewed from a guide part 4 side. Moreover, the tightening device 19 is tightened to the seat plate 11 through a long hole of the bracket 14. For this reason, when distance between stories of a building is reduced, reduction displacement in a tightening section of the guide rail 2 can be absorbed, and a meandering condition of the guide rail 2 is prevented.
