PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical tomography endoscope apparatus which has detachable endoscope and OCT (optical coherence tomography) processor, and is free from a complicated operation because it needs no separate operation for the endoscope and the insertion of optical probes. SOLUTION: This optical tomography endoscope apparatus comprises an endoscope having a flexible insertion tube for inserting into a celom to investigate the celom, an interference light detector for generating a measuring light and a reference light to form a body tomogram by an optical coherence tomography, making interference between the reference light and the reflection light from the measuring light irradiated to the living body, and generating a detection signal according to the intensity of the interference light, and a tomograph generator which is detachable to the interference light detector and generates the living body tomogram based on the detection signal generated by the interference light detector. The interference light detector is set inside of the endoscope to irradiate the surface of the body cavity with the measuring light from the top end part of the flexible insertion tube.
