<p>The outside of TFT or LCD monitors, except its viewing field, is protected against scratching and other damage by coating of natural and/or synthetic materials, e.g. wool and/or silicone. Additional elements, such as loudspeakers and air supply, are so treated as to prevent heat accumulation, or large sound loss can happen. The coating ends 1.5-0.001 mm in front of viewing field. Connecting terminals are also kept free so that monitor use is not impaired.</p> |
