An electrical power switching arrangement is used on such as a circular wood saw machine. The machine is fitted with a mechanical braking system that brings the blade to rest. During this phase the electrical switch cannot be operated. Built in to the rotary element is a freewheel (20) with spring elements (19) that form a delay element (10) to block the switch.
