PURPOSE: A monitor that confirms offset and gain control results is provided to allow a user to easily confirm the offset and gain control results. CONSTITUTION: A monitor includes a micro-controller(260), an A/D converter(210), a scaler(220), a pattern generator(270), a multiplexer(225), and an interface(230). The micro-controller controls the entire operation of the monitor according to horizontal and vertical synchronous signals. The A/D converter converts an analog video signal to a digital signal. The scaler converts the digital signal to a signal suitable for a resolution of an LCD panel(240) of the monitor. The pattern generator generates a video signal having a predetermined test pattern under the control of the micro-controller. The multiplexer sequentially outputs the video signal input from the scaler and the video signal inputted from the pattern generator. The interface converts the video signal output from the multiplexer to a signal suitable for an interface format of the LCD panel. |
