<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attaching/detaching of an image carrier such as a photoreceptor drum, obtain excellent rotation accuracy of the image carrier by restraining occurrence of vibration even when disturbance acts, and form a high quality image. <P>SOLUTION: This driving force transmission device transmits rotation driving force to a driven body side from a drive side provided with a drive source. The driving force transmission device comprises a projection for engagement and a recess for engagement which are relatively engaged to each other. The projection for engagement and the recess for engagement are capable of relatively being engaged to each other, and have no gap in a rotating direction. The recess for engagement is provided with a guide part which abuts against the projection for engagement to rotate the driven body to a direction in which load is small, and which guides the recess for engagement to the projection for engagement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
