<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can independently process a plurality of printing data corresponding to respective parts constituting an image to be printed on one page and print the image on one page based on these printing data. <P>SOLUTION: An MPU 2 writes the printing data independently into an image buffer 3 when it receives a printing datum corresponding to a frame format and a printing datum corresponding to a text to be printed overlappingly on the frame format. A first video interface (VIF) 4-1 reads the printing datum corresponding to the frame format from the image buffer 3 and transmits to a selection and synthesizing circuit 6. On the other hand, a second VIF 4-2 reads the printing datum corresponding to the text from the image buffer 3 and transmits to the circuit 6. The selection and synthesizing circuit 6 synthesizes the respective transmitted data to integrate as the printing data for one page. A printing mechanism 7 prints the image on one sheet based on the printing data synthesized by the circuit 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
