<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventing fixture for a louver ceiling which is simple in structure and excellent in reliability as to prevent a louver panel from slipping out and falling from a runner frame, even in an emergency such as an earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: The fall preventing fixture is formed of a clip 10 rigidly mounted to the runner frame 1, and a wire rod 11 formed of a stranded wire having one end connected to the clip 10. The clip 10 is formed of operating arms 13 and a clip body 12 in the form of a metal leaf spring which is constituted of a pair of elastic legs 14 and an upper wall 15 in one piece. The elastic legs 14 have a stopper piece 17 and spike pieces 18 for defining the insertion limit of the clip body 12. Then the clip 10 rigidly pinches a longitudinal wall 4 of the runner frame 1 and the wire rod 11 is connected to the louver panel 2, and the loop end 26 of the wire rod is fixed by a caulking sleeve 25. Therefore the louver panel 2 slipping out of the runner frame 1 is securely held by the wire rod 11, to thereby prevent the fall of the louver panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
