<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cloned mammal and a transgenic mammal (for example, goat). <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a somatic cell strain, such as a transgenic somatic cell strain, which can be, for example, used as a donor cell, the method for producing the cloned mammal and the transgenic mammal by introducing a genome of a somatic cell into an enucleated oocyte, preferably, into a naturally-matured telophase oocyte, and forming a reconstructed embryo, and a method for transplanting the reconstructed embryo are provided, respectively.
