PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving type automatic winding machine having excellent operation property, high yarn stretching property of a filament yarn, high space efficiency, and many ends. SOLUTION: Two turret tables 3, 3' are arranged across a yarn passage, rotation direction of a pressure contact roller 9 provided for the turret table 3 on one side is set reverse to the rotation direction of a pressure contact roller 9' provided for the turret table 3' on the other side. The turn direction of the turret table 3 on one side is set reverse to the turn direction of the turret table 3' on the other side. Each center of a bobbin holder or the pressure contact rollers 9. 9' coming into contact with a filament yarn during winding is positioned between virtual line segment c connecting centers of two bobbin holders 4, 5 provided protrudedly on the turret table 3 on one side and virtual line segment c' connecting centers of two bobbin holders 4', 5' provided protrudedly on the turret table 3' on the other side during winding of a filament yarn.
