PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering cup which enables simple and precise measurement of rice. SOLUTION: The metering cup is composed of a metering cup body 1 which is cylindrical and has a bottom and is made from a resin, a lid 11 which is made from a resin and is formed so as to be fittable to the chin-like part 3 of the cup body 1. The lid 11 has a fulcrum fastening portion 14 which is fastened to the cup body 1 via a connecting part 13, and the connecting part 13 is in a curved shape, and is formed so as to be thinner than the thickness of the lid 11 and narrower than the breadth of the fulcrum portion 14. The lid 11 is attached so as to be rotatable freely on the cup body 1, with the opening surface 2 of the cup body 1 and the lower end surface 17 of the lid 11 kept approximately on the same plane.
