PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable joint offering relatively small construction applicable to a great axial load and to a small installation space, eliminating the existence of an axial gap due to the axial load on a movable rod and permitting accurate transmission of motion between the movable rod and a fixed portion of a building foundation. SOLUTION: A connection pin 3 having a connection portion 30 functioning as an oscillation center is fixed to the side of the movable rod 2 while a fixing plate 1 having a connection receiving portion 10 for embracing the connection portion 30 is fixed to the side of the fixed portion. The connection pin 3 is joined to the fixing plate 1 in a non-separative manner. The connection portion 30 of the connection pin 3 is formed into a spherical shape and the connection portion 30 is embraced by the connection receiving portion 10 of the fixing plate 1, thereby providing for the function of the connection portion 30 as the oscillation center of the movable rod. The spherically shaped connection portion 30 has a rotation preventing end face 32 perpendicular to an oscillation center axis O of the movable rod 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
