PREPARATION HEATER FOR MEDIUM IN DENTAL HANDPIECE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental handpiece which can be heated up to a desired temperature as fast as possible after switching on a switch for a medium . SOLUTION: A preparation heater for the medium in the dental handpiece has at least a medium passage openable via a switch 32, a heating element 31 related to the medium passage, a temperature sensor 34 to detect temperature of the medium, and a preparation circuit 33 connected to the temperature sensor 34 to control the heating element 31 following a sensor signal. After the switch 32 is actuated, the heating element 31 is operated for a short period by prescribed heating power without regard to an output signal of the preparation circuit 33 to heat the medium up to the required temperature as quick as possible.
