The active structure (1) for permanent snow regions comprises a platform (3) vertically adjustable on a stand structure (5) anchored in the snow to maintain a minimum distance from the snow surface. A vertically adjustable flat cover construction (9) is installed beneath the platform on a level with the snow surface and extends beyond the area of the supports (4) of the stand structure. A space (10) is formed in the snow below the flat cover construction and has a size approximately similar to that of the flat cover construction.
