摘要 <p>A joint device for an artificial leg providing significant reduction in weight of a power source and extended duration of the power source, and enabling easy actions of knee bending/extension, toe raising, and kicking. The joint device has an above knee member and a below knee member spaced apart from each other. Three telescoping links are connected between the above knee member and the below knee member. Energy derived from body weight, acting on the artificial leg is accumulated in the links. The links are moved by releasing the accumulated energy and perform joint movement by driving the below knee member.</p>
