<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate a playing style with a high degree of freedom only by operating a playing style switch. <P>SOLUTION: A playing style to be applied is determined by positions of a musical sound according to the operation of the playing style switch. Namely, when a user properly operates the playing style switch, a playing style determining means determines playing styles to be applied by positions of the musical sound and an output means outputs musical performance information for specifying playing style modules corresponding to determined playing styles. Thus, a playing style to be applied can be specified by the positions of the musical sound only by operating the playing style switch, so the user is able to generate a waveform for one featured sound on which specified playing styles are reflected with high quality and rich controllability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
