<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for massively expressing a measles virus hemagglutinin protein (MVH) which holds antigenicity as the measles virus hemagglutinin protein (MVH) and has high reactivity with an anti-measles virus antibody, and then rapidly purifying the expressed protein. <P>SOLUTION: This method for massively expressing the measles virus hemagglutinin protein (MVH) comprises using the A type inclusion body (ATI) promoter of poxvirus and/or repeated vaccinia virus 7.5K prophase expression promoter as a promoter, ligating the gene of the measles virus hemagglutinin protein to the downstream of the promoter, inserting a histidine-labeled sequence (His label) into the 3'-terminal to express the hemagglutinin protein holding the antigenicity of natural measles virus hemagglutinin protein in a high expression rate, and then efficiently and rapidly purifying the hemagglutinin protein from the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
