摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain as much as possible occurrence of breakage of each of blocks 10 at high speed travelling of a high load transmission V-belt B in which a large number of blocks 10 are meshed with tension bands 1, 1. <P>SOLUTION: A recess part 22 in which its resin part 17 is recessed to an upper side is arranged between an upper side projection 14 and a deep abutting surface 20 in a fit part 12 of each of the blocks 10, a stress is dispersed by removing an edge between the deep abutting surface 20 and the upper projection 14, generation of a crack of the resin part 17 due to stress concentration at the edge and generation of a crack of a reinforcing member 18 of the blocks 10 with a tip of the crack of the resin part being as a base point are prevented thereby preventing breakage of an upper beam part 18a of the reinforcing member 18, whereby strength with respect to the breakage of the blocks 10 is enhanced. Even when thermal expansion of an automorphic rubber layer 1a of the tension band 1 occurs, an expanded amount is released to the recess part 22 to prevent early permanent set of the automorphic rubber layer 1a, and applying to the blocks 10 an excess force generated due to compressive force from the fit part 12 is prevented, to thereby prevent occurrence of looseness between the tension band 1 and each of the blocks 10. Heat generation due to excess deformation of the automorphic rubber layer 1a of the tension band 1 is restrained, whereby the thermal expansion and thermal deterioration are prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
