<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling method for a battery power supply device that detects the operating condition of the device and controls so as to allow proper charging and discharging, as well as interrupts a connection circuit when any abnormality is detected. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a battery ECU2 that controls a blower 5 by sensing operating conditions from the detection data of voltages, temperatures, etc. of a battery pack 8 that houses a plurality of battery modules connected in series in which a plurality of single cells are connected in series, and outputs the operating conditions data to a car side as well, and controls so as to interrupt the connection circuit with the car by a relay provided in a charging / discharging circuit unit 3 when any abnormality is detected from the detection data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
