PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposition treatment of organic halides which safely and stably treats salts formed by the decomposition reaction of the organic halides. SOLUTION: The method for decomposition treatment of the organic halides comprises: a photochemical treatment process 102 for blending the organic halides 1 being an object of decomposition treatment with a polar organic solvent 2 and irradiating a liquid to be processed 4 to which an alkaline solution 3 is added with energy rays; and an electrolysis process 111 for electrolyzing an aqueous solution to be electrolyzed 18 containing salts formed by the decomposition treatment of the organic halides.
