PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a tripod fitting member capable of reducing the cost and man-hour. SOLUTION: The tripod fitting member 31 is temporarily fixed with pawls 32 and 33 provided integrally to a body frame 30. When front and rear covers 25 and 26 are assembled to the body frame 30, position restriction ribs 37 formed integrally inside the front and rear covers 25 and 26 clamp the tripod fitting member 31, whose position is restricted to a fixation position. At the fixation position, the centers of a screw hole 38 of the tripod fitting member 31, a screw insertion hole 29 of the body frame 30, and fitting holes 24 of the front and rear covers 25 and 26 are aligned with one another, so the tripod fitting member 31 and body frame 30 can be fixed at the same time with a fitting screw 23 fixing the front and rear covers 25 and 26.
