PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new reflecting mirror with a layer including one or more matters selected from a group consisting of silicon, titanium, germanium, selenium and tellurium in place of the conventional silicon oxide layer between a glass substrate and a layer including aluminum and/or silver and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this reflecting mirror provided with the layer (II) mainly including aluminum and/or silver on the glass substrate, there is the layer (I) mainly including one or more matters to be selected from a group consisting of silicon, titanium, germanium, selenium and tellurium between the glass substrate and the layer (II).
