PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact illuminated annunciator for outputting both sound and light in a small installation space, without needing to mount a sound unit and an illumination unit in two spaces. SOLUTION: The illuminated annunciator 10 comprises a housing 11, a speaker unit 1 mounted in the housing 11, and a light emitter 2 disposed behind the speaker unit 1 having a transparent or semitransparent diaphragm. In a usual time, the alarm executes the illumination, sound reproduction, voice guidance, etc. In an emergency, it performs an alarm light indication and an alarm sounding. Since the light emitter 1 locates behind the speaker unit 1, sound from the diaphragm is not blocked and an empty space behind the speaker unit 1 is effectively utilizable to make the annunciator 10 compact.
