PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting polymers with small particle sizes from a polymer solution with good productivity without using voluminous solvent and without causing big lumps to be produced even if the viscosity of the polymer solution is high. SOLUTION: The polymer solution is sprayed into a poor solvent along with a gas to precipitate the polymers in the polymer solution. This collecting method, since easily yielding the polymers having small particle sizes from the polymer solution, enables the after-processing, such as washing and drying, to be done efficiently and can economically afford a polymer product that is less in the remaining solvent and catalyst and of high quality.
