PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce the rigidity of the overlapped part of a tensile body in an elastic crawler which is provided with a crawler body formed of a rubber-like elastic substance in an endless manner, and with the tensile body constituted by arranging in parallel in the crawler width direction tensile strength cords with ends embedded along the peripheral direction of the crawler, and which is arranged so that the tensile body is made to be an endless shape by overlapping end sides of respective tensile strength codes each other, and tips of both sides of respective tensile strength cords of the tensile body is lined in the inclined direction relative to the crawler width direction. SOLUTION: A lap width Y regarding the crawler width direction B of the overlapped part 9 of the tensile body 6 is formed so as to be smaller than the total width X of the crawler width direction B of the tensile body 6.
