PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard film-coated cutting tool in which abnormal abrasion is restricted even in such cutting environments as to have severe adhesion or welding with workpieces by restricting increase of abrasion resistance caused by adhesion and welding phenomenon with the workpieces in dry cutting, in which hard film is provided with lubricity, and in which performance deterioration of the tool is avoided even after surface treatment to provide further lubricity to the hard film. SOLUTION: On the surface of the hard film of the hard film-coated tool for use in cutting in a dry method, lubricating and rust-proofing oil agent including sulfur-based ultra-pressure additive is applied. After the surface treatment to provide further lubricity to the hard film, lubricating and rust-proofing oil agent including sulfur-based ultra-pressure additive is applied as well, thereby performance deterioration of the tool is avoided.
