The invention relates to a sealing cap for bottles (4) or similar, comprising a threaded section (2), with a thread (3) for fastening the sealing cap (1) onto the bottle (4), a cover section (6) for sealing an opening (7) of the bottle (4) and at least one chamber (11) for receiving a material that is to be separated from the contents of the bottle (4), said chamber (11) being sealed against the interior of the bottle (4), when the sealing cap (1) is screwed onto said bottle (4). The aim of the invention is to obtain a particularly simple construction. To achieve this, the chamber (11) is substantially annular and is located in the transition zone from the threaded section (2) to the cover section (6) and the cap is provided with a sealing ring (9), which is retained on the internal periphery of the cover section, seals the chamber (11) and co-operates with the cover section (6) by means of a sealing surface (13). |
