A global positioning satellite (GPS) (1) detects a person needing help. An emergency call pager (2) transmits GPS data via a mobile radiotelephone service network (3) and sends it to the nearest required blue-light organization (5) with the assistance of a database (4). The hardware has five buttons for police, rescue, breakdown, doctor and fire brigade.
