AIR CONDITIONER WITH LONG RANGE OPERATION MODE

PURPOSE: An air conditioner with a long range operation mode is provided to independently control upper and lower parts of horizontal blades to vary the direction of cold wind discharged in the long range operation mode, thereby promoting the convenience of use. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner with a long range operation mode includes first and second horizontal blades(310a,312a) for controlling the upper and lower discharge directions of cold wind, and a control part(302) for variably controlling the first and second horizontal blades upwardly for extending the discharging range of the cold wind in the long range operation mode. The control part controls the wind direction of the first and second horizontal blades in such a manner that either one of the first and second horizontal blades is fixed in a horizontal state and the other one swings upwardly.
