<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of operating a heating firing furnace by which a heat-fired material free from crack or deformation is obtained by reducing the difference between the inside temperature and the surface temperature of a material to be heated in the heat-firing of the material to be heated which is composed of a ceramic material and having many through-holes toward a fixed direction. <P>SOLUTION: The method of operating the heating firing furnace possessing a microwave heating means and a convection/radiation heating means for heating and firing the material to be heated which is composed of the ceramic material and having many through-holes toward one direction has a temperature measuring means 1 for measuring the inside temperature of the material to be heated and a temperature measuring means 2 for measuring the surface temperature of the material to be heated. The output of the microwave heating means is controlled by the temperature information obtained by the temperature measuring means 1 and the output of the convection/radiation heating means is controlled by the temperature information obtained by the temperature measuring means 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
