<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transfer system for using as a key multiple kinds of information in a receiving packet, obtaining a transfer method of the packet from an external server, and transferring the packet. <P>SOLUTION: When a packet is received, a packet transfer system A1 extracts multiple kinds of information, such as destination IP address and address port number, contained in the received packet, and inquires of a packet transfer method solution server B1 about the information on a packet transfer method while the extracted information is used as a key. The server B1 holds a relationship as data base B12 between the multiple kinds of information included in the packet and one or more kinds of information about the packet transfer method, and responds to an inquiry from the packet transfer system A1 and gives one or more kinds of information about the packet transfer method. The packet transfer system A1 rewrites the multiple kinds of information, such as destination IP address and address port number, on the basis of one or more kind of obtained information and transfers the received packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
