<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove interference/noise components in averaging processing in path timing detection, and to accurately detect a multipath even to a variation in a phase by fading or the like in a receiver having a multipath detection function. <P>SOLUTION: A vector detection section 1-2 detects a vector comprising the real number of the correlation result of a reception signal at each sample point inputted from a complex matched filter 1-1 and an imaginary component. Based on the vector detection value (channel estimation value), a variation in the phase of a path by fading or the like caused by rotating the phase of the correlation result of the reception signal is compensated for by a phase rotation section 1-3. At an in-phase addition (integration) section 1-4, averaging processing by the in-phase addition (integration) of a voltage is made over a long-time region where a variation in the phase by the fading is large, and power is not averaged, thus bringing the noise and interference components close to zero on average, and hence performing accurate path detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
