<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently cope with the demand of recent work examination on view points of focusing area and focusing efficiency, while making full use of the characteristic of an illumination system wherein a light irradiation device and a light source are separated through optical fibers. <P>SOLUTION: A light irradiation device 6A side has a structure of a casing. Lenses are respectively held at each of light emitting ends of optical fibers in a state of being close to or closely kept into contact therewith. At a light source device side, a first lens for light source, obtaining the approximately parallel light from the light irradiated from an LED, and a second lens for light source, focusing the light from the first lens and introducing the same to the light emitting end of a bundle of optical fibers, are mounted in a common casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
