<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve switching operation in various kinds of operation modes which do not cause troubles in steering wheel operation, and achieve switching operation in two directions in any operation mode. <P>SOLUTION: The switching device 20 arranged to a ring 4 of a steering wheel 2 of a vehicle includes an operation member 22 which is provided to the ring 4 of the steering wheel 2, and normally rotates and reversely rotates around the ring 4. The operation member 22 has a ring shape at least partially surrounding the ring 4 of the steering wheel 2. The operation member 22 includes operation parts 24, 25 provided in a position visible from the front side of the steering wheel 2 and in a position where the operation can be conducted by a finger from the rear side of the steering wheel 2 for assisting the normal rotation operation and reverse rotation operation of the operation member 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
