<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand wedge for lengthening the distance of flight as well as simply raising a ball in hitting a ball in a bunker. <P>SOLUTION: A sand escape hole 4 piercing in the moving direction of a head is provided in the bottom 3 of a club head 1.
