PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment which can be used with an exclusive tray at all times regardless of dimensions of disk media. SOLUTION: The disk tray device has a disk tray 23 and the ring-shaped attachment 39. Dented parts 45 which can be fitted in concave parts 37 respectively are formed at a lower face side of the attachment 39 at positions corresponding to the concave parts 37 of a supporting face 35 of the disk tray. A storage region for a first disk medium is formed when the concave parts 37 and dented parts 45 are fitted in each other. An opening 41 of the attachment is formed as a storage region for a second disk medium when the concave parts 37 and the dented parts 45 are not fitted in each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
