PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not to make a phone call by receiving state information indicating the communication possibility/impossibility and suitability/unsuitability of the telephone set of a communicating party by mail and displaying it at the display part of terminal device at hand beforehand. SOLUTION: Communicating party information including a telephone number and the mail address of the communicating party are related to each other and stored in the terminal equipment beforehand. When making a phone call, by inputting the telephone number, state informing information indicating the change of the communication state of the telephone set (or information terminal equipment) of an opposite party, that is the condition change that a power source is changed from ON to OFF (S101) or vice versa (S105), a battery is turned LOW (S107), it is during a conference or it is during movement by train (S109) or the like, is retrieved and displayed.
