PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is a difference in readout images in an image reading apparatus using a linear image sensor 104 having three RGB line sensors 201, 202, 203 and a line sensor 204 for BK. SOLUTION: By using or correcting the difference between the both readout, the readouts are optimized so as to perform a readout with high definition at the RGB line sensors 210, 202, 203 as well as to achieve a readout at high speed and with low noise at the line sensor for the BK.
