PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone equipped with a high function digital camera for picking up the images of a user oneself and the other person while viewing a liquid crystal screen. SOLUTION: A digital camera is built in the transmitting section 6 of a foldable mobile phone such that an operating panel including dial buttons 18 becomes substantially parallel with the optical axis. Camera lens 10 of the digital camera is exposed to the end face of the transmitter body 6 on the free end side. The transmitter body 6 is rotatable up to about 270°with respect to the receiver body 4 and can stops at positions making a right angle, an obtuse angle and an angle of about 270°with respect to the receiver body 4 in order to pick up an image.
