PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video contents work processing system capable of resuming the processing from a part in the vicinity of an interrupted part so as to work video contents in a short time even when the processing is interrupted due to any cause during the work processing of the video contents. SOLUTION: In the video contents work processing system 1, while a work processing section 11 applies work processing to video contents, a work progress state output section 12 monitors a progress state of the work processing, and informs a work progress management section 13 about the progress state when a work processing finished data amount reaches a predetermined integer multiple of a prescribed work processing unit. The work progress management section 13 manages the progress state of the contents. A control section 10 confirms the progress state of the contents at the start of applying work processing to the video contents on the basis of information managed by the work progress management section 13 and controls the work processing to be started from a part having not been worked yet.
