摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a multilayer electronic component capable of improving the end face shape of a ceramic element assembly and surely connecting an internal electrode layer and an external electrode by excellently exposing the internal electrode layer. SOLUTION: The ceramic element assembly 12 for a multilayer ceramic capacitor is provided with a structure for which a dielectric ceramic layer 14 and the internal electrode layer 16 are laminated. In calcining the ceramic element assembly 12, since heat contraction rates are different at a ceramic part and an internal electrode, a recess is generated at the center of the end face, and the internal electrode layer 16 is not exposed to the end face. For that, the end face shape is improved by barrel finishing and the internal electrode layer is exposed. At the time, a large medium and a small medium are mixed and the barrel finishing is executed.
