AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CONTROL DEVICE FOR POWER VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission capable of preventing unexpected automatic-shifting of gears and ensuring safe and smooth traveling. SOLUTION: The automatic transmission control device is equipped with a transmission mode changing means for selecting either a manual transmission mode for changing to an appropriate gear shift stage out of a plurality of gear shift stages of the transmission 4 of a tractor, or an automatic transmission mode for automatically shifting to an appropriate output state of the transmission 4 according to the step-in amount of the accelerator pedal 9 and the number of rotations of an engine. The structure of the device is made so that switching from the manual transmission mode to the automatic transmission mode by the transmission mode changing means during travel of a vehicle at a speed higher than a predetermined speed is prohibited and possible while the vehicle is stopped or traveling at a low speed.
