HIGHLY WATER-REPELLENT FLAME-RETARDANT FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric having excellent heat resistance, flame-retardancy and water-repellency. SOLUTION: The fabric is composed of a constituent fiber of a heat-resistant fiber having the surface covered with a flame retardant and a siloxane polymer. The fabric has a water repellency not less than grade 2 by hot water of 80°C, and a limited oxygen index (LOI) not less than 35. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
